If you prefer to eat out, take a 10-minute stroll to Eastern Market and explore other dining options. You're ready to begin your stay with signature start-up Lather products, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent.
This Capitol Hill home is a 1-bedroom basement apartment offering a blend of historic touches with modern convenience, thoughtfully designed for long-term stays. The living area is comfortable and inviting, featuring recessed lighting and ample room for comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The bedroom is a peaceful retreat, generously sized with feather down pillows and additional lighting. The washer and dryer are conveniently located between the living space and the kitchen.
We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged. If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass and parking space reservations.

It is home to the United States Capitol, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress, making it the epicenter of American governance. The neighborhood's tree-lined streets are dotted with charming row houses, historic landmarks, and vibrant markets, creating a quintessential D.C. atmosphere. Beyond its political institutions, Capitol Hill boasts a diverse community, bustling with boutique shops, acclaimed restaurants, and cultural attractions like the Folger Shakespeare Library and Eastern Market. This home is conveniently located near Lincoln Park and green spaces offer residents and visitors alike a serene retreat from the city's hustle and bustle, making Capitol Hill a captivating blend of tradition, culture, and modern urban living.
Our home offers contactless, seamless, and easy self check-in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. Smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke, we will terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including a $500 smoking fee. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices, and noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering, or parties, a representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. All buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas, including all entries to the building. Currently, this home is not pet friendly. There may be times where the home needs unexpected or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay, sometimes this cannot be avoided, thus we reserve the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24-hour written notice.
Navigating Capitol Hill is best accomplished by utilizing its efficient public transportation system, including the DC Metro, with the Capitol South, Eastern Market, and Union Station stations serving as convenient access points. Additionally, the neighborhood is highly walkable, allowing residents and visitors to explore its historic streets and vibrant commercial corridors on foot. For those preferring a more leisurely mode of transportation, renting a Capital Bikeshare bike provides a convenient and environmentally friendly means of getting around, with numerous docking stations scattered throughout the area. Lastly, ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft offer convenient door-to-door transportation for those seeking a more personalized commuting experience.
