By night, it becomes a focal point for culinary genius, with nationally famous restaurants. Capitol Hill is one of the city’s most popular places to live, with 19th-century row houses, a vibrant nightlife, and dining scene. Tour the U.S. Capitol via its impressive visitors center, and explore the Library of Congress' Thomas Jefferson building, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and the U.S. Botanic Garden. Enjoy a home with a walk score of 100, including 6 transit stops within 1.2 miles, with Capitol South reachable in a 2-minute walk.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere in the interior of the building or within fifty feet of the building, including outdoor spaces. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if the odor of smoke is reported. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, and noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay. Noise monitoring devices and exterior cameras are in place for security. Certain items should not be flushed or put down drains, as plumbing issues may result in charges.
