4 blocks to campus, pvt. entrance, "mother-in-law" suite

DESCRIPTION OF “MOTHER-IN-LAW SUITE”
About 4 blocks from the main campus. Grad student or upperclass Undergraduates preferred.
The backyard of our house is one level below the front, so the entrance to the suite is from our backyard. The unit is...
what is sometimes called a “mother-in-law” suite. As mentioned, there is a separate entrance from the rear of the house into a good sized (approx. 12 ¾’ x 15 ¾’) efficiency-like room. That room has a long countertop with a full size sink, garbage disposal, and a bar stool providing an eating space on the counter in front of a window. While there is no conventional oven with burners, there is a microwave oven, toaster oven, and single burner. It is furnished with a bed, 5 drawer dresser, an “L” shaped desk (2 file drawers and 2 regular drawers). There is a deep closet and a small refrigerator. You will also have the use of a good portion of a large, full size refrigerator as described below.

Next to the main room is a hallway with a storage cabinet and full bathroom. The end of the hallway has a lockable door which can be closed giving the suite privacy from the rest of the house. The hallway leads into a large vestibule. Across that space is a laundry room with washer, dryer, slop sink, and a full size refrigerator. We would share use of the washer and dryer. We may use one shelf of the refrigerator and will put items in the freezer. Otherwise, the refrigerator/freezer is available for your overflow use. Coming off the third side of the vestibule is a large rec room which contains a sofa, chairs, a table, and a cable TV. When we are not using the rec room, it would be available for your use. The backyard contains a heated pool. In season, you would have limited use of the pool. Most people use their cell phone for phone service. There is wireless internet.

So you would have exclusive use of the suite, but the opportunity of much more on a shared use basis. Note, not a sublet but a direct lease.
