Large 1 bedroom for rent

Large semi-furnished bedroom in a shared 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment with one other older male.

About the apartment:
Small DC apartment. The existing living room and dining area have been converted into a second bedroom so there is no communal...
space to hang out, host get togethers, parties, dinners etc.
If you are someone who requires a communal/shared space this might not work for you as it is both impractical and physically impossible.
You will be renting the larger of the two rooms that can function as a bedroom, work and hang out space for yourself.
There is a small eating nook off the kitchen for personal use only as it is very close to the second bedroom.
The kitchen is practical but small. Light use/cooking only.

About you:
Someone who has a structured and balanced work/life/study schedule.
Spends all their social life and activities outside the apartment and is looking for a calm, quiet environment to come back to, get some work or studying done, and to unwind and relax.
Is considerate of other people’s working schedule and calm lifestyle (the other tenant works six days a week). Can respect the quite hours of 11pm to 6am. 7days a week and holidays.
Maintains common/shared areas spotless and tidy.

Stable, verifiable employment and/or upper-level academic.
Proof of identity, income, work and personal references required.

Rent: $1,250/month. Includes utilities and internet (no cable).

Optional covered garage parking spot. (additional $200.00/month).

1yr rental minimum preferred (will consider 6 months depending on circumstances).
